Young childrens abilities are severely underestimated by many. The cornerstone of what we do in our programs at Little Linksters LLC and the Little Linksters Association for Junior Golf Development has always been based on the scientific facts (as noted in this TED talk) that children learn best at ages birth to 8 years of age. Teaching Youth Golf historically in our industry has been something that starts at ages 8 and up or even older....Why? My friends Nicole Weller & Kate Tempesta can surely agree with me in in asking the Why? question....In well thought out and fun programs like we offer, we are teaching the concepts of the game of golf (in a fun way) at the RIGHT time in a childs development....AND in terms of the important social aspects that are offered in group programs, with other children of the same ages....it only makes since too! Come on Golf Industry! Catch on! Lastly, our newly developing G.O.A.L.S. (Golf Outreach Advances Life Skills) programing for children with special needs is also a great way to stimulate personal growth and development at young ages in these very special kids as well...all focused around fun and creating opportunities for personal discovery...through the game of golf!
