Young people: You are seeing and hearing of racism in its worst form-hassling/profiling/house calls/beatings/slayings. At the same time we have the most important institution in this nation-The Supreme Court- casting out the the Voting Rights Act, with one monster in the Court uttering that there is no racism any more so there is no need for a Voting Rights Act. It hasnt always been like this. Please watch short film here put together by one of Americas brilliant minds. He mentions what has happened before with a view toward preparing people for what can happen again. May I take this moment to, with distinct displeasure, inform you that this nation, the USA, is showing ALL the signs of return to fascism/ It doesnt appear to be a NAZI- styled fascism, but fascism IS fascism and its difficult to predict how it might change in the coming years. It has already morphed into racial violence and that is important to facsisti; they have a great need to have someone, some race under them to support their image. YOU are supposed to be in control in this country. We of my age were also but we have utterly failed. We left the voting booths empty. We could not find time or energy to support the people who have been keen enough to have seen the dust storms coming down the road and tried to deflect it. Now the storm is more of a settle-in malaise, a stifling of the civil rights we have fought so hard for, the tax codes which condemn the vast majority of our people to subserviance and all the shit that comes with it. I damn sure dont want to bore you and drive you away. Thats because the video here is of supreme importance to you; I hope you can get a running start to change the school boards that are taking science out of the schools. The people that contribute to the college deans to help them see things their way. The webs of intrigue through out the nation that cause fascist people to be elected to your govt. Please believe me when I say these people mean you no good. They want students to be of average achievement so as to be useful for their machinery but not prepared to shake up the countrys moral/ethical/political vacuum that the country now exudes. You will not understand all this right away; few of those of age have and fewer yet have lifted a finger to stop/slow/deflect the inert gases that people seem to be breathing. Rather, please let this lil rant serve to awaken your eyes, that they might the better latch on to news items of the worsening of this intrusion into the prior happy, productive life of that which we only remember.
