Your AM Structure does not have to be rushed. If you Function better by spending 5min lying in bed and then progressing to the Bathroom/Kitchen, so be it. I am not an advocate of Morning TV/Computer time, as it provides a Visual distraction than can Delay/Increase Time necessary for other events. I prefer News Radio/Music to start the day + Increase Awareness/Productivity. I recommend Showering to our Athletes before our 5:00am Group as it has many Benefits to Staff/Clients alike. Awareness and Hygiene are 2 Large variables in a Group Setting. Finally, finding your Pace is important. Try changing your Rhythm (Slower/Faster) to find a Flow that enables you to be more Productive, Relaxed & Prepared. Most try, without Success, to Speed Up. Give yourself an extra 15min and see if the next 15hrs feel a lot more like You.
