Your Daily Iconic Moments. YOUR FATHER KNOWS. God knows everything and already knows about everything you need. He doesnt just know about your needs; He has also already made provisions to meet those needs. We have a common scenario where God is always stretching out His hands to give but we are the ones not receiving. Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:31-33 God says, do not worry because provisions have been made for all your needs to be met. Not just a few but all your needs have been provided for by God and the simple way is to seek His Kingdom and His righteousness. What is the Kingdom of God? The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. God says if you seek this Kingdom in addition to His righteousness, your needs will be automatically met and remember, God cannot lie. The righteousness God is talking about here is not your own righteousness but the righteousness you have received as a gift through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Your own righteousness is an acquisition, an achievement and it will never stand before God. The righteousness of Jesus Christ is what makes you stand continually before God because this righteousness is unquestionable. Once you stand in His righteousness and you are conscious of it 24/7, your needs will be met because His righteousness is a magnet for meeting needs. You are an Icon. Action Plan:- Write down a list of things you have achieved as a believer. Hear this, these achievements are the things stopping you from receiving from God. You can only receive through unmerited favour. Prayer:- I have all my needs met based on the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
