Your Elevation Today - 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 Wednesday – THE BATTLE IS IN YOUR MIND THE BATTLE IS IN YOUR MIND: Before the devil can defeat a child of God, he has to make them think, believe and act in ways that are not in conformity with the word of God. In reality, a child of God is far above any power that the wicked one can boast of. This is why he needs you to step out of the word of God and out of your position of authority before he can carry out his evil plans. The minute a believer steps back into the word, he assumes his position of authority and the devil becomes powerless. The devil knows this. And that is why he invests a lot of his energy in making you think, believe and act in ways that is out of line with the word. Step out of doubt, fear, sin and carnality and step into faith and into the truth. And watch the enemy paralyzed over your case! Every time a negative thought comes to your mind, note it down into a sheet of paper. Try to measure how many times the devil suggests negative things to your mind on a daily basis. Speak to the Lord: Submit your thought life to God and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you how to win the battle of the mind.
