Your Eyes They see me for all that I am. What I am not and what I am soon to be. I am transparent. Captured. Captivated. They simultaneously convict and uplifting me. Your eyes. They guide me like an ever present angel. They teach me and reprove my arrogant faux pas They give wise and loving council like the amorous teacher. Where would I be without them? Your eyes. How they light up my heart when you laugh. Bathing me in positivity and issuing me to a higher path. Radiantly they reflect your strength and inner allure. They whisper and dance me into love. Your eyes. I will never forget the day when first I held your gaze It seems like only yesterday. Indicative of time and it’s jocular way. We have loved and grown into golden years together.
