Your Morning Manna: As I work and meditate this morning I am thinking on the word FOUNDATION! The word foundation means this: The basis or groundwork of anything; the natural or prepared ground or base on which some structure rests. It is also the lowest division of a building, wall, or the like. It is the act of founding, setting up, establishing, etc. So we can conclude from these definitions that your foundation as a believer is the (lowest ground level) of your faith which you have been prepared upon or set up on or established upon as a believer! Your foundation serves as the baseline of your faith and you were to be built from there! Now although apostles and prophets are BUILDERS the Bible also says this in: Ephesians 2:19-20 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Therefore, apostles and prophets are also used by God to lay the foundation for the church! However, what Im noticing as an Apostle is this: Some of the foundational learnings of many saints are not solid or sound in doctrine nor beliefs! Tithing/giving is a foundational learning! Sowing at the feet of the apostles was an earmark of the first church! Repentance is a foundational learning for it is the essence of your salvation! Discipleship is foundational because you should have believed on Christ to become a follower of Christ! Fellowship is foundational because believers gather and assemble together as they did in the upper room! Prayer is foundational and disciples were taught how to pray! Yet we have saints who have been built up to preach, teach, prophesy and even expound on revelation with cracks in their foundation, shaky foundations and worst yet foundations made of sand and not a rock! This is why we have so many believers that crack under pressure, become easily offended, and eventually fall away from the faith! They are not foundational sound or stable causing them to not be able to meet the (requirements) of the faith! People of God this is not good and good leadership MUST refuse to built you up without first correcting your foundation, perhaps even laying a new one in your life and you my friend MUST submit to this process BEFORE your building collapses because of its POOR FOUNDATION! This concludes your morning manna! P.S. This leadership WILL NOT build on a jacked up foundation! STRUCTURAL RECONSTRUCTION IS IN ORDER!
