Your Turn: Truck Wreck Rebutt - This week’s “Your Turn” segment goes to Barry Gaudet. Gaudet is one of many people who reacted on our Facebook page to a recent story about a big truck wreck in Interstate 110. Many people complained about the truck drivers, but Gaudet wrote on their behalf. In his words: If it werent for trucks you would all be naked, hungry and homeless. As a trucker, I know what its like to struggle with so many distracted drivers who dont have a clue that a big truck does not stop or maneuver like a car. Trucks bring the fuel you drive with, the food you eat, the supplies to keep your utilities on and the clothes on your back. A little more consideration and fewer distracted drivers would help.
