High 28, Low 18 Long Range Weather Outlook: A strong blast of cold air works in over the weekend... the coldest air of the year! Lake effect snow showers will follow Saturday night into Monday. It could be a decent event for the lake effect favored areas with models indicating an upstream connection with Lake Huron/Georgian Bay. Several inches of snow will be possible for areas north of Binghamton, while areas near Binghamton could pick up 2-4 inches. Thanksgiving week outlook: Temperatures will have a hard time making it out of the 30s for much of the week. I am watching a potential stormy situation for next Wednesday. Confidence remains very low at this time. Right now the models have the storm missing us just to the east. Travel issues could arise for east coast airports, so if youll be taking to the skies... be prepared for delays Wednesday. Ill keep you posted. Outside of that, the only other issue will be lake effect snow in the normally favored areas.
