How befitting that one of my former employers, one with whom I left on good terms, HTMUA, aka the Hamilton Township Municipal Utilities Authority, are looking to increase their water and sewer rates ACROSS THE BOARD, Weymouth Twp. (Belcoville), included??!! At THIS time.. When 8,000 people are about to get thrown out of their jobs, and the ensuing disaster that will ricochet from there. Further business closures, people out of work... Im telling you now it will hit this area HARD. AND FIRST. HTMUA is the first lining up to capitalize on the misfortunes of others, just doing the bidding of their corpoRAT overlords. I cannot tell you how relieved I am that it will not be me out there turning your water off when the time comes, but that is precisely what we are looking at to occur. Every time the MUA has gone to get a rate increase, it has been granted. WE MUST PUT A STOP TO THIS AT THIS TIME. Who is it now, that needs a raise, the Executive Director, Steve Blankenship? Meeting will take place on Wed. August 13, 2014 7:30 PM at the MUA admin. bldg at 6024 Ken Scull Ave, Mays Landing. LETS GET TOGETHER AND TELL THEM **NO -- NOT THIS TIME!!!!**
