Your Youth Representative Report from the Institutional Care Council of CDO: Glad to know that the famous gay street kids near Xavier has been rescued and is now in the Youth Center of the City. They have been there for more than 3 months now and the Agape program of Xavier University has been helping out in their reform effort. These are small victories come to think of it. But MORE has to be done. One step is the creation of the multi-sectoral Institutional Care Council which brings in both private and public entities that are into child protection and development. It is a great step forward because this council now has a direct say and influence in crafting the child services of the city budget hence forth.
