Your correct Grace, but the point is always skirted for one reason or another! Look at this view if you will, as manager of a home improvement store, training the sales staff to extended past the visible to the true heart of the need. I made this statement to a customer who was remodeling his bathroom. Fill the tub with water, dry the edges before caulking arround the tub let it cure for 48 hrs so it wont leak. He informed me that a 350 pound tub would not flex, I let it go at that! Several weeks later he came in to apologize, he said, I took all my instrument from work and place them on the tub, and it flexes 1, 100, thousandth of an inch and thats enough to leak.
