Your ear for just a second: My latest print for PRIMUS goes - TopicsExpress

Your ear for just a second: My latest print for PRIMUS goes onsale tomorrow, and proceeds from one of the rare variants being released (the Frosty variant, printed on French frosty light blue stock) will be donated to the My Stuff Bags Foundation (mystuffbags.org). I wanted to take a moment and tell you about this foundation, why I support it, and why Id like you to. Imagine the trauma of being a child separated from all that you know – parents, possessions and home – and not having anything to cling to for comfort. Sadly, each year, hundreds of thousands of children here in the United States must be rescued from severe abuse, neglect or abandonment. Traumatized and facing an uncertain future, they frequently enter shelters and foster care with nothing – no personal belongings, no favorite stuffed animal, no special blanket. They are afraid, disoriented, and desperate for comfort. That’s where My Stuff Bags Foundation comes in. The My Stuff Bags Foundation, with the help of thousands of people across the country, provide these unfortunate children with things they need to help them settle into their new environments, such as clothes, toys, toiletries, stuffed animals, and a security blanket. My Stuff Bags has provided bags to more than 320,000 children in 49 states since it began in 1998. For more information, go to: mystuffbags.org I first heard of this organization a while back and thought it was amazing. They provide one of the most caring and simple acts of kindness and love that one could offer to a child whose life has been turned upside down. Id hope that if you can find it in your heart (and if you can afford it), youll purchase one of these Frosty Primus variants. Ill send the profits from the sale of this variant edition directly to My Stuff Bags Foundation as a charitable donation. You get a nice thing that you dig and so will these children. Thanks in advance. xoxo, jr FROSTY variant is an edition of only 20 signed and numbered prints.
