Your exclusive Observations for July 15th ~ 630am NWS reissues High Surf Advsry for South Shores after call from SNN. Nicer skies than yesterday with less mugginess as light dawn Trades fill 10-20 by 9 or 10am. High Surf Advsry warranted as our New south swell got a few 6 sets Monday and is still here but it has peaked and will be begin a slow declined later today. Dont let the lulls fool you. Barbers buoy 4 15 seconds. Even the NS has at fun 1-2+ WNW surf. High tide 6am 1 dropping to a .1 at 12pm pushing back up to a big 2 High at 630pm. NORTH: Up and Holding on a 15 second WNW at select reefs like Sunset & Rocky Pt. 1-2+. Were down on NE wrap at 0-1.5 for refracting reefs like Laniakea (see our new SNN Laniakea & Chuns Cams); clean, light side-offshores and still sweet diving/paddling; fairly clear. West: Makaha is up and holding 1-3 on the SSW+WNW swell and its smooth & glassy then offshore texture later;other reefs have 3-5 from the 15 sec SSW; good diving/paddling; clear. Town: Ala Moana, Kaisers, Kewalos etc. up and holding 2-4 occ 5 (20-30 minutes) on the 15 second SSW; Conditions are very good with light side offshores, increasing 10-20 ENE trades later this morning. Diamond Head: up and holding on the 15 second SSW swell at 3-4 occ 5 and looking lined up and good but a bit bumpy, side offshores and getting windier as the morning goes.(Our new Diamond Head Cam is up). Sandys: Up and holdingon the 2-4 occ bigger bombs from the fat SSW + 2.5 SSE + 2 Trade swell and typical side offshore barrells, kinda heavy, uneven and bumpy but should improve later; breaking from Full Pt. to Pipelittles + hollow, powerful shore pound to chambers.Careful. East: Makapuu: Holding on the S wrap and ENE trade swell at 1-3 on the left & semi bumpy and typical cloudiness.
