Your hair bloomed into soft velvety flower pedals as I was snuggled into your neck I was waiting waiting a ridiculous amount of time but you never came back I told my self I have to hold on hold on to what I have to my self I didnt feel used I had more of a reaction based upon past ungratefulness and out right neglect you found your self dealing with the wounds from years of backstabbing We pushed forward despite the knowledge that any one of our steps could easily be our last struggling suffering life ultimately yearns to live .
