Your mayor is the top Peace Officer for the jurisdiction... that means he can issue arrest warrants if directed by one of the people he is sworn to serve. he MUST act in this capacity when ordered... the role is his most important job - a safe-guard against tyranny Kincardine Mayor Larry Kraemer was ordered to arrest an OPP officer, & ensure an independent investigation for criminal activity. He got his secretary to inform us: Larry chooses not to act in this capacity right now. sure will be nice to get back to accountable, transparent governing... cuz i dont know what the hell these guys are doing... & obviously, neither do they.
