Your pastor WILL say some things that you dont agree with and they may even upset you. However, that doesnt negate the fact that theyre still your pastor. Everyone need a pastor who convicts yet comfort, cut yet heal, and ultimately be your pastor and not your buddy. As pastors, we are and can be friendly but never mistake that as an opportunity to get so close that what we say has very little or no weight at all. So many people are anti-pastor and this is a great tragedy. Not that we are always right, but we should always be spirit led. Pastoring is not something you just wake up one morning and decide that you want to be one. It is certainly a call and a gift given to The body of Christ. God thought enough of you and I that he assigned us a voice in the earth realm that when they speak, your entire life change, your focus is regained and something leaps in our spirit. I love the people that God has assigned to my care and I vow to be a better pastor to them. God has grown Bible Way Ministries(The Flowing Place) greatly in spirit and in number. Ive seen great maturity in myself as well as the remnant whos ready to fulfill their purpose in the earth. This was in my spirit to share and I pray that someone is encouraged because of it. Honor, respect, and cherish your pastor. Pastors are plenteous, but pastors after Gods heart are few. Praying for pastors today and I pray that youll do the same. Mega blessings!
