Your prayers have been answered! Deo gratias! Two and a half months have gone by since I last saw most of you. I am sending this email now for several reasons: I wanted to thank each and every one of you for all of the good times we have shared, for mutual musical growth, for your kind words and wishes, for the wonderful party (special gratitude to Jessica and Michael for the gracious use of their home!). I was particularly taken by the promise of prayers and even novenas dedicated to my future prospects. Of course, none of this is surprising as these are all manifestations of the quality and authenticity that I was fortunate to have continually witnessed during my tenure; faith in action. One additional reason to send this now is to let you know, as a direct result of your intercessions no doubt, that I was contacted by a parish here in Pinellas County and invited to join the staff as Music Director. I have decided to do so effective August 4th; thank you very much for your kind and faithful prayers. While a full-time position, my actual time invested will be more limited as I have other projects that I am working on. While I look forward to coming to know these people, no other position could take the place of my St. Lawrence family and for that reason, I shall endeavor to remain in touch.
