Your relationship with God can be like one with an old homie. You may have had a connection at one point; chillin together and bonding, but eventually you may have drifted away. Maybe you even had doubts about your friendship. Maybe there were times you thought about your old friend but decided you were now too different and you had different life plans than your friend wanted for you so you kinda started avoiding them. But the thing about the friendship with God, is that Hes happy when you come back, however you come back, in whatever form you come. The key phrase is: you come back. Regardless of how long its been, or what you think youve done, or how different you feel you are- all of those things pale in comparison to the point: He wants your friendship back. All of you. He created you knowing youll mess up. But thats why He reminded you too:Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of God. Indeed, God forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. Its never too late. Come back!
