This was one reason that God gave in why his wrath was against his people. We often think of God’s judgments in light of catastrophic natural events, but the Bible tells us that bad leadership can also be an instrument of God’s verdict. Are we praying for our political leaders? Are we willing to get involved with our neighborhood to bring righteousness to our land? The lack of Christian involvement in politics causes all of us to suffer.
