Your suggestions are wanted! So Im on the planning committee - TopicsExpress

Your suggestions are wanted! So Im on the planning committee for South Bends 150th Birthday celebration next year and Im putting together a proposal where we number 150 small to medium sized tokens and distribute them throughout the city and ask people to do random acts of kindness and then give the token to the beneficiary of your kindness with the expectation that they will do the same thing. The whole pay it forward thing. The tokens must be numbered because on the token Id like to direct them to the SB150 website where they will be able to share the number of the token and the kindness they received. This will go on throughout the entire calendar year, with the hopes that at least a few of them will make it from January 1st to December 31st. If the token is too small, then they will get lost more easily and we wont be able to print the SB150 logo and website, and a corporate sponsors logo on them. If they are too large then it will be difficult to carry them around. Id like them to be larger than a coin but smaller than a loaf of bread. They must be durable and able to have a sticker or engraving or stamp printing on them. Heres my question: what should we use as tokens and where would I go to obtain 150 such objects? The best two suggestions thus far have come from Margy Tonneman Kloska. Without sharing her suggestions, does anyone else have any good ideas? It would be nice for these to be keepsakes for years to come, but it isnt absolutely necessary. Fire away!
