Youre a girl! Act like one. No I will not. Why do I need to act like a girl? Why do I need to act at all? Am I not entitled to be myself? Is this what weve come to? To live our lives as something were not just because people blessed with similarly functioning reproductive systems decide to behave in a particular manner? Is this what is expected of us? To bow to what society wants? A patriarchal society that hides behind a farce of feminism? No I will not. Most may say Im unusual. Even too open minded for my own good. But isnt that what humanity should strive for? For each one to be their own person and for all of us to accept one another? Or should we cower in a box or lash out at anything that doesnt coincide with our thinking? So dont bow to society its norms. A society that will turn its back on you the minute you portray yourself as you are, the minute you dont fit the description they provide you with. A society which will always choose a penis over a vagina. I will be who I am. Because Im nobody if Im not me.
