Yours truly is now OFFICIALLY A VICTIM OF CREDIT CARD THEFT! Just learned around lunch time today that my credit card is lost and got stolen. The person/s who did this charged 14 transactions from different high end establishments in Mandaluyong and Fort Bonifacio High Street. The total amount charged is almost 40K pesos. When I finally learned about this (via Citibanks SMS), I called them and had my card deactivated. It was too late since Citibank has a Credit Card Loss policy and they cannot revert any transaction posted before reporting a lost card. Hence, I was advised to go to the individual merchants. I spent the whole afternoon going after these merchants and verifying from the CCTV footage. Also, I went to the police station to report this. Somehow, I managed to identify who the offender is. I pray for that person that God will open his eyes to His truth of forgiveness and grace. In Jesus name, I pray that he gets convicted that material wealth / possession is just passing... the eternal treasures of Christ-likeness have far more value and Gods love that transcends human understanding. I am steadfast in Gods word that He will never leave and forsake me. That HE IS my Jehovah Jireh (my provider). And that HE IS our Jehovah Rapha (our healer) who will heal our hearts of the pain and empower us to forgive and abound in mercy and grace. Finally, in Romans 8:28 (NLT) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. I praise God for allowing this to happen, for opening my eyes to His truth and forgiveness. May He be glorified in the final outcome of this. Everything will work according to His purpose. Please continue to pray for the person who did this as well as for myself. May we all see things in Gods eyes... may we continue to love what He loves (love, forgiveness, kindness, Christ-likeness) and hate what He hates (sin, unrepentant heart, disobedience, etc).
