Youth League conference update: Zanu PF has officially dissolved the youth league executive after completing its term of office, paving way for the voting of a new executive. Zanu PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo, who presided over the dissolution, thanked the outgoing executive as having done a sterling job during their term of office. Ambassador Moyo hailed the youth leaders for setting a good example, while reminding them not to fall prey to factionalism, corruption and imposition of candidates if called upon to serve the party in other capacities. The dissolved youth league executive comprises Cdes Edson Chakanyuka, Mike Gava, Obert Mutasa, Annastancia Ndlovu, Varaidzo Mupunga and Yeukai Simbanegavi. Meanwhile, voting for the new executive is currently underway at the 6th national conference. The post of deputy secretary who will serve in the politburo is up for grabs and is pitting Cde Kudzanai Chipanga of Manicaland and Cde Tongai Kasukuwere of Mashonaland Central province.
