Youth Olympic Games Update: Its been a good start for both Francesca and Henry in the fencing this morning. Francesca finished in 3rd place and Henry in 14th. This is the first time the fencing ladder system has been used in international competition (although it has been tested at international competitions) and on competition day the athletes will fence again from the bottom up i.e. 24th will fence 23rd, the winner will stay on the piste and fence 22nd, the winner of that bout will stay on and fence 21st and so on!
