Youth congress concerned over growing drug menace: Srinagar , July 02 : Expressing grave concern over the growing drug abuse in the J&K state ,Youth Congress Lok Sabha President Sheikh Aamir Rasool today demanded the State Govt to intensify efforts to check the menace . Aamir Rasool said that drug abuse is the biggest problem we are facing today and urged youth to unitedly fight against menace he said while addressing Youth Congress workers at Batamaloo in Srinagar. He further said that fighting drug menace does not require a single effort but rather collective responsibility adding that tackling the problem should be through simultaneous actions on all fronts . While he appealed to all the political parties to come forward and work sincerely to eradicate this menace. He said unless the youth are given proper employment after a proper De- addiction drive the problem will remain as it is. Others who spoke on the occasion are Youth congress Leaders Asif Bhat ,Irfan Lone, Owais Manzoor ,Zubair Pandow, Arshid Pandow, Zaid Zahoor and others. .
