Youths feared killed in Gboko as they protest against Dangote Cement Hundreds of youths who today protested against the Dangote Cement Plc in Mbayion community of Gboko LGA in Benue State met stiff resistance from soldiers drafted to protect the company from possible vandalism. It was gathered that the clash between the soldiers and the protesting youths led to the soldiers opening fire, which led to the death of some of the protesters. Those said to be killed in the fracas are said to have been deposited at the compound of the Area Command Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force in Gboko. The Dangote Cement Company has been working under very tight security because of the ever-present conflict with the host community.
