Youve always been around me since I was young. My mom forced me to go see you every Sunday wether I wanted to or not. I never really truly knew who you were but knew your name. Eventually as I grew up, I stopped visiting you on Sundays. Id think about you time to time & surely asked a lot from you all the time. My grandfather was a man of God,read his bible every day for hours & my grandma loved God too. When I would get into trouble,Id sometimes get spanked but it was the lectures that always were in relation to scriptures from the bible (Gods words) that affected me the most... My grandparents (RIP) were everything to me & taught me everything about life. My admiration and love for them is infinite. Even after death, thinking of them & remembering them... How much they loved God.. always remained in me. When I was at the lowest point of my life a few years ago, something told me to get up & go to the church down the street from my house. Ive never been there my whole life. I got 1/2 way there then turned back. But I knew something good was waiting for me there. As I got closer I could hear singing and praises,it was beautiful... But when I stepped over the threshold something came over me which I knew was Gods Holy Spirit. I broke down in tears cause the first time in my life, I knew he was real. Thinking of that day, I believe my grandparents had a lot to do with that encounter. I just want to say thanks to God and his son Jesus Christ for everything, and to my grandparents who instilled Gods words through out my life. Memories that Ill forever keep... My testimony
