Youve probably seen me all giddy like for a couple weeks in anticipation for our show last night and wondering... why so excited? Well let me expand just a little bit. As many of you know, over the past 4 years we have gone through a HUGE life transformation with Team Beachbody and this band, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus although they didnt know it at the time played a small role in process. I worked for a great company but I knew I was destined for bigger things and every day at lunch I would put my headphones in and run to the album Dont you Fake It The messages in all their songs gave me hope that one day I could stand out and no longer be in the crowd. I remember a year ago I was standing in the crowd waiting for my chance to break through, my chance to live again. Now it seems Ive found some friends who finally understand what it takes to make this dream come true, well be here till the end. With that being shared, they have been my all time favorite band since about 2005. I was pretty stoked about a month ago when our band got told we were going to open for a Theory of a Deadman. That would of been one of our biggest gigs ever. Sadly, at the last minute the show got cancelled and it bummed me out for a minute. Many of my good friends said, when things happen its because God has something bigger or better in store for you. Not even 3 weeks later we got the call asking if we would want to open up for Red Jumpsuit Aparatus and Hawthorne Heights. Last night our band Peak Theory played one of our best ever shows. We got to hang out with the guys from Red Jumpsuit. We got to meet and talk to all of the guys from both bands but I was super stoked to be able to spend a little time talking with Ronnie the lead singer from RJA in their van. I love how they all started living in a trailer with holes in the floor, cockroaches and all. Probably go down as one of my biggest bucket list items ever.
