You’re not going to get any better or worse results by having your rest periods be plus or minus 23.6 seconds. Just get it done. Boom! Quit putting so many rules on your training. Hell, even your strength training. Unless you have some crazy specific goal youre trying to achieve, youll be hard pressed to convince me that your 5x5s, 3x10s, 4x6s, etc have any meaning at all. You want to periodize your training? Great...do so, but why you obsessing about it? Does science really need to run your life? Pick heavy shit up, put it down, move fast, rest hard, call it a day!
