Yowzer! Sciatic Pain!!! I am out of commission for the rest of the evening. I learned something from my new doc today. The statin drug I take for cholesterol could be causing the extreme all over pain Ive been experiencing - I always have some pain (fibroymyalgia for over two decades) but these last few months have been killer. So Im stopping them (simvistatin) for a bit and Ill let you know how the experiment goes. Next week - pain management appointment. Im still exercising 3 to 4 times a week (sometimes 2 hours at a time - I overdid it today (and completed my physical therapy) so Im trying, people. Im really trying! Not much left to do with my crazy spine, but new knees in a few years will help. All my peers at the medical fitness center are struggling with pain and chronic pain of any sort is really hard to take. Sometimes I just want to give up but I have no idea what that looks like. Not an option.
