Thanks in advance to everyone who has helped, donated online, through the scratch ticket raffles, donated via a raffle or silent auction item or is volunteering at tomorrows event. My fundraising event for FamilyAid Boston is being held just over 24 hours from now. Yes, thats tomorrow, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Crystal Community Club, 77 Preston St., Wakefield. Directions below. Lois Parker Carmona will be doing Yoga class starting just after 5:00pm. Yoga will complete around 6:30pm. The traditional fundraising event start at 7:00pm with a buffet, table raffles, silent auction items, a 50-50 raffle, dancing via DJ, deserts, announcements by FamilyAid Bostons Shannon Arnold and the selection of the Mass Lottery scratch ticket winners. Event concludes at 11:00pm. $10 is all that you need to get through the door - then have at it on the tables. Hope you can make it. If not, I know you are all there in spirit. I will be there with you in the same manner the following day on your 22 mile journey from Hopkinton to Boston. Meanwhile on Sunday morning Ill be at the 3rd leg of the 7 race New England USATF race An Ras Mor 5k followed by support for the finish line for those of you running at the Eastern States event. Upon seeing the Bank Of America (on your right) and Farmland (on your left) you will be at the intersection of Main St./Water St. Take a right on Water Street, then follow through 3 sets of lights. On your left will be S&M Liquors. The next left immediately following S&M is Preston Street. Take this left. The club is 5 buildings down on the left side (77 Preston St.) From Rt. 128 - Take exit 39 North Avenue. Follow North Avenue for 1.5 miles. The train station will be on your right side. Go through this set of lights and then take th3 2nd left on to West Water Street. This will bring you to Wakefield Square. At this light Farmland will be on your left. Go through this set of lights on to Water Street - follow through 3 sets of lights. On your left will be S&M Liquors. The next left immediately following S&M is Preston Street. Take this left. The club is 5 buildings down on the left side (77 Preston St.).
