Relativily unkown quality at home, bt making big impact in a foreign country as rally navigators-- Shammer Yusuf and Absolom Aswani may not be in the forefront of the Kenya National Rally Championship, where they bounced from, but they are majestically leading the Overall Standings of the 2014 Tanzania Rally Championship. Yusuf, considered to be a quietly-spoken competitor, has earned the respect of the rally fraternity with his humble and down-to-earth approach, which has taken him to the top of the table with 68 points. It is good fun but great challenge to do well in events outside your home. If it were not for the Abdul Sidi Rally Academy, I would not be here today. I am so grateful, said Yusuf, who navigates Gurjit Dhani. Aswani, who navigates Gurpal Sandhu, is eqaully impressive and good at his approach, which is vital in a contest that needs good mental and physical fitness and politeness. Tanzania Rallies have given me lots of fun and knowledge. I also thank ASRA for opening the doors to the sport, said Aswani. Aswani is lying second behind Yusuf in Tanzanias biggest sporting event.
