ZEINIac update 8/16/2014: The 6 weeks are over!!!! And I wanna say as much as this wouldnt make sense - and probably only cancer families will relate- but we are EXCITED to be going to the hospital only for blood transfusions for a while! Ughh! The daily drive KILLED us! Seriously driving 100 miles every day back and forth, the long waiting hours, the grueling treatments, side effects, cranky mood, everything took a major toll on us! We officially crashed and chose to throw all that behind us and focus on the break! Or so its called. The next few weeks we will monitor Zeins blood counts and transfuse him as needed. He is allowed to attend school with his friends (shout out to an amazing school community making our life much easier), recovering from the daily treatment is our main goal! The pictures here are on what we thought was our last day of chemo, he met Dolph ziggler, Naomi and Emma the WWE wrestlers and Mat Leinart the football player. They were all so proud of Zein for beating cancer again. I quote Zein: today is my last day of chemo and hopefully I wont need it again cuz this is my second time beating cancer! Its annoying but I will kick its butt! Yea baby kick its butt alright! On another note super dad Tamer the Hammer is doing much better after his surgery elhamdlelah .. He HATED staying home lol and started recovering well . Our next step is MRI on the brain end of this month to check tumor, more chemo, more counts recovery then NY. Seems like we are pushed for another month to go to NY. Ok ZEINiacs thats all for now... Wish us luck and as always you guys ROCK! Thanks for all the prayers, messages and sweet calls.
