ZHS Bulletin Monday, October 13, 2014 October is National College Application Month A new ineligibility list is now in effect based on Mid-Term grades. See Mr. Winters today if you have questions on eligibility. Tomorrow during 1st period, all ZHS students in attendance will take the Healthy Youth Survey. If any student wishes to opt out of the survey, please contact the office this morning. It is now time to ADD/DROP for Winter and Spring semesters with Mr. Griffin. Please fill any holes in your schedule and if you need to make other adjustments try to complete this before October 24. It is also the time to arrange to be an aide or a school tutor. Students grades 10-12 interested in taking the FREE ASVAB Career Aptitude Test should sign up in the Guidance Center Today. ASVAB is a requirement for military enlistment but there is no military obligation from taking the test. Testing will be Test on Thursday, October 30 in the ZHS Commons Note-This is a non-school day for students (Conferences) so if you sign up you are expected to attend. October is College Application Month: “COLLEGE” is any after high school education and training that could include university, college, community college, technical college, military and/or apprenticeship study.
