ZONA ROSA Spooky Halloween Events KidZones Boo Bash Block Party Saturday, October 25 2-4 p.m./Dillards District We invite all the little ghouls and ghosts out for a couple hours of safe trick-or-treating, kid-friendly games, spooky cool giveaways and more at our spooktastic block party! Wear your costumes! Children of all ages are welcome, but only those 12 and younger will receive giveaways. Northland Safe Trick-or-Treat Friday, October 31 | 5-9 p.m. North Dixon Avenue Its a Northland Halloween spook-tacular! Safe Trick or Treat returns to Zona Rosa for its third year on Halloween night! Northland children will once again have a fun, safe and FREE opportunity toTrick-or-Treat in the presence of local KCPD officers, who help pass out candy! This event also features an interactive Haunted House, kid-friendly games and giveaways! (The Haunted House is family friendly, but it can still be a bit scary for younger children so please enter with caution. There is a chicken exit for little ones who are not quite sure about the surroundings.) This event is best suited for children ages 4 to 12. Wear your costumes and bring your cameras! The Book WERM Sale November 7-8 | The Grove Join us as PEO Chapter KY will be selling 5,000 gently used books at our Book WERM (Womens Education Receives the Money) Sale! PEO is a philanthropic educa- tional organization which raises thousands of dollars annually for scholarships for women. Project Warmth Saturday,November 8 9 a.m.-3 p.m. CVS Parking Lot Zona Rosa will take part in this one-day-only event in conjunction with other outlets throughout the city in an effort to collect coats and blankets for needy families through- out Kansas City this winter.
