ZSL END TO END This weekend saw an incredible 25 goals in Action after the break. We begin with... Napsa Stars beating Konkola Blades side 2-0. Blades had lost 9 key players in the transfer window. Napsa went into 3rd position on 31 points. Next up was Zanaco who came back from 2-1 down at home to beat National Assembly 4-3 and keep top spot of the ZSL on 36 points. Second placed Zesco United failed to keep up with Zanaco as they managed a 1-1 draw away to townsmates Indeni which kept Zesco on 34 Points. ZSL defending Champions Nkana missing 3 key starters including striker Sate Sate went behind 3-1 at home against Choma Eagles by halftime. Nkana pulled one goal back in the secind half but it was too late as Nkana lost its second consecutive game at home to remain on 29 points Nchanga Rangers won 2-0 at home against Roan United and moved to 9th place on 20 points. Red Arrows began the weekend in 9th place but lost away to Nakambala Leopards 1-0 as Leopards win kept them a point from safety on 18 points. Green Buffalos who prevented Leopards from exiting the relegation zone travelled away to KMP and beat the bottom side 1-0 to go on 18 points with a better goaldifference. 3rd from bottom Kabwe Warriors motivated by their massive home support took the lead twice before allowing a resilient Power Dynamos to come back and win the match 3-2. Powers win meant that they leapfrogged archrivals Nkana FC into 3rd place on 31 points. The weekend also saw Zanaco FC reach an landmark 40 goals in 24 games and saw the ZSL reach a 300 goal margin with Power Kennedy Mudenda scoring the 300th goal.
