Zagmail Migration In an effort to increase student, faculty and staff collaboration, student email known as Zagmail, will be migrated from the current environment of Gmail to Microsoft Office 365. This change in the service will facilitate better communication and collaboration for the Gonzaga community. By transferring the student email service to Microsoft’s new cloud based solution verses an on-premise one; the savings to the university are substantial. The change in email service will be fairly seamless, your email address and the process of accessing email will not change. All existing email will be migrated to your new inbox and future email will then route to Microsoft. This transition is scheduled to take place in early January over the semester break. Further information regarding exact deadlines of the switchover will be forthcoming. The Information Technology Services (ITS) department will be providing more information and training as it relates to transferring your Google Docs. The simple process of moving documents will need to be completed by April 14th, 2014.
