Zambia crisis: After the passing away of President Michael Sata at King Edward VII’s hospital, Beaumont St, Central London, Edgar Lungu has been Acting President of Zambia in the interim but i gather that Cabinet is organising to seat to have Lungu pass over the acting powers to Guy Scott (a Muzungu). Problem is, will Lungu accept to do it or will he insist that he stays as acting president till elections to be organised within the 90 days? Call it a constitutional crisis but this is Africa; anything happens in this beautiful continent of ours. But perhaps it is time we grow up and start respecting constitutionalism. It is for the good of all of us! May the spirit of the Zambian constitution be observed to the letter. RIP Sata.
