Zambia has failed to exhaust resources given to it by the European Union -EU to combat climate change and had to surrender the balance back to the EU. Speaking during the National Symposium on Climate Change Adaptation Finance Governance and Accountability in Lusaka today, Vice President GUY SCOTT described this development as a sad one.The Vice President says Zambia also needs to set aside resources for climate change as it had none at the time the PF took over office compared to Ethiopia which had 2-billion dollars in the coffers.And OXFAM Country NELLIE NYANGWA noted that resources for Climate Change have NOT been trickling down to the intended communities.
