Zambia has just made history today with the appointment of its first female Vice President Inonge Wina (pictured). New President Edgar Lungu (pictured) said about his selection, Inonge Wina is a solid person; stood up for the party when we faced possibility of disintegration and going into oblivion. Zambia held peaceful elections last week, after their President Michael Sata died last year. Heres an interesting quote, also on Tuesday President Lungu warned his peers not to be complacent during his tenure, saying, Your job is not to isolate or insulate the President.
