Zambian Clubs in |Continental Football |Thur 4 April 2014 Zambian Football is naturally Gifted with Talent. Talent that can dominate in African football not just for a season but in as far as four (4) consecutive seasons. This has not been the case in Continental Football such as CAF. Zambian teams are oftenly knocked out at the 11th hour. Then what goes wrong? Or what can be done to get successful in CAF games? History as a record of Great Sons of Zambia who played appreciated football as far back as 1970s |The likes of Willie Phiri,Dickson Makwaza,Peter Kaumba,Freddy Mwila Snr, Godfrey Chitalu,Alex Chola etc. Another generation blossomed with the likes of Kalusha Bwalya,Charles Musonda,Wisdom Chansa,And now we have another generation of Christopher Katongo,Stophila Sunzu etc. Football as evolved in the recent past. Modern football involves a combination of Tactics and strategy|as if thats not enough,players and technical bench ought to work with maximum efficiency. Meaning that when a Player is given chance to play in a particular game,he has to play to Win|On the other hand the coach has to be on point with his approach and be able to read the game. Zambian teams are Synonymous to playing with player combinations which dont yield results as well as keeping to the bench deserving players,that way positive results get scarce. Local Teams should always strive to win at home,scoring goals and avoiding to concede. This is an approach that North African teams have adopted and Tp Mazembe a Therefore as Nkana prepares for another round of continental football.
