Zambian Forces are Criminals and Petty Thieves Who Have Resorted To Stealing From Our Homes – Sesheke Suspected Linyungandambo Leader, As Solidarity Pour in From Many Lozis, Home and Away. What was supposed to be a search for Linyungandambo leaders and members in Barotseland has now been turned into nothing less than a search for valuables and petty cash. This development has become common as many Barotseland nationals whose houses have been invaded and searched by the so called Zambian Security wings continue calling us reporting of their missing valuables and money. For example, in Sesheke one Mike Kazuma, reports that when they did not find him at home they stole his valuables and at least Four Hundred Kwacha which he had in his house after a successful business transaction he had done in Mongu a few days ago. “Kimasholi feela batuba (these people are just petty thieves)” retorted another caller who complained of have lost some valuables too. “We are appealing to the Zambian government to save the last bit of dignity they have by withdrawing their lowly paid and hungry forces who are now just stealing from us to the point of eating our little relish and stealing our coins in the name of collecting evidence!.” fumed a Mr. Muyunda of Lukulu. Meanwhile, many Barotse people from all walks of life continue to send in messages of solidarity in support of the recent action of Rt. Hon. Afumba Mombotwa who many have regarded as a true son of a ‘Black Bull’ a term widely used in Barotseland to imply a fearless and courageous person, with some calling him the messiah of Barotseland for finally having done what every other Lozi home or abroad have always known must at one time be done. “We only pray and wish our Lindwalume (warriors) God speed, spiritually and every other way” called in one female Lozi. Yet others have expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Afumba Mombotwa, saying he truly poses the spirit of one Njekwa who led the rebellion against the Kololos, successfully disposing the Kololo kings, who like Zambians, had colonized Barotseland. "This is clearly a case of black on black colonization and only the Njekwa like spirit will lead us through.” wrote in another Lozi from the Diaspora. “Afumba, like Njekwa has shown the way, we the rest of the Lozi nationals home and away must take interest and see what we can do and how we can get involved. Let us forget about our individual preferences in who should lead us at this moment, that we will have opportunity to decide in a truly democratic way as Barotseland shall be a democratic constitutional Monarch with The Ngocana King as head of State while we the citizens chose our own government leaders. Let us put aside our differences or preferences for later. But now we must compel these invaders out of our country” concluded the email. Many have also sent in their congratulatory messages to the new Afumba Mombotwa led transitional government who they have wished God’s blessing as they steer the nation of Barotseland through this very difficult time of the Nations’ history. According to the Barotseland Transitional constitution, a provisional government will and should organize popular and democratic elections within 3 years and elect a prime minister and members of parliament. Some, however, send in their blessings expressed through the popular Barotseland motto of “Tukongote. Litunga Nilyetu – simply put Let’s Unite. The Litungaship (nation) belongs to us all.” - See more at: barotsepost/index.php/en/frontnews/local-news/452-zambian-forces-are-criminals-and-petty-thieves-who-have-resorted-to-stealing-from-our-homes-sesheke-suspected-linyungandambo-leader-as-solidarity-pour-in-from-many-lozis-home-and-away#sthash.BXLGrl7F.dpuf
