Zarobinsk Ministry Foundation PO BOX 12880 ARUSHA TANZANIA Mob: +25 755 51 39 11 markndeti@yahoo Web: Dear Sir/Madam RE: Letter of Inquiry for ZAMIFO English Medium Pre and Primary School On behalf of the Zarobinsk Ministry Foundation AIDS Care and Awareness Organization (ZAMIFO), please accept this letter of inquiry possibilities of having sponsorship program in the Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School , It is our hope that your organization will consider a partnership with ZMF to support the development of this new Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School , which will address sponsorship for Orphans in Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School needs of orphans and vulnerable children in the Meru District Arusha Northern Tanzania. Founded in 2013, Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School it is under ZAMIFO, The ZMF is a non-governmental organization that provides HIV/AIDS support and education to the Meru District, a region largely overlooked in terms of aid. The HIV/AIDS pandemic has strongly affected this rural community with limited access to awareness and prevention awareness, and medical attention both directly and indirectly. An essential role of Natasha is to increase awareness and disseminate accurate information alongside providing care for direct and indirect victims of HIV/AIDS. ZAMIFO English Medium Pre and Primary School is a mission which God placed to the heart of Ms, Emmy Kilinga to reach the Unreached people groups and rejected groups of Orphans such as Maasai Orphans, Tindiga Orphans, Sonjo Orphans, Barbaiq Orphans and other ethnic tribes living in the barren areas of ArushaTanzania mainland to establish an effective and sustaining sponsorship mechanism programs so that we should involved and help some development activities in the villages for the purpose of bringing relief to the people by fighting against Ignorance, Poverty and Disease the biggest enemies in Tanzania. Furthermore we provide basic knowledge, wisdom as to educate those orphans to know their rights since Maasai children’s culturally they have no right to be educated, right to Health, Right to eat as most Maasai Family they provide ones food per day as why we come forth to eradicate all this problems through different level of education to prepare them as tomorrow youth leaders, however we expose guidance and counseling to educate them. The ZAMIFO English Medium Pre and Primary School opened July 19th, 2011 and currently offers support for the Meru District most needy orphans and Most-children by providing free food, school fees and primary education, Shoes, Books, School bags, treatments and study tour, Safety and emotional support five days a week. These inputs will allow these children, currently 3 to 8 years old, to grow up and learn while feeling supported by their community. Currently, the Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School is the only support program for this age group of the Meru District orphans and most vulnerable children. The ZAMIFO English Medium Pre and Primary School will concentrate its resources, staff and community support on benefiting the orphans and vulnerable children in the Meru District and increasing HIV/AIDS awareness. It is designed to be a provision of support, nutrition and education for the children. Additionally, the ZAMIFO English Medium Pre and Primary School plans to expand and include an HIV/AIDS education component to provide awareness and prevention information to the local community, targeting the core problems of the HIV/AIDS pandemic on multiple levels. The Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School is comprised of five local staff members, and a plot of land that includes a 2 classroom building, an administration building, toilets, a cooking area, a large storage/carport building, a secure compound fence, a large playing field and reliable water well. The mission of the Center is to provide support and education for the local community in their constant battle with the HIV/AIDS pandemic by: 1. Supporting sponsorship mechanism for orphans and most- vulnerable children to the area of education. 2. To start and build development and Education Schools for orphans to learn the different skills for their own self help. 3. To relieve distress and suffering of orphans living with HIV/AIDS 4. To relieve distress and suffering orphans and most vulnerable children living in Maasai communities in Meru Arusha Regional by providing programs and services focusing on education, Books, uniforms, food, clothing, medical care At this point in time we are focusing and working in one of isolated pastoralists area and orphans groups who live in Meru District Northern Arusha Province 10kilo meters from Kilimanjaro Air port. What we have done so far. •We have managed to start one center:-1 Meru Orphan Care Center •We have registered 150 of Orphans and most vulnerable children in the ZAMIFO Orphan Care . •We have start the Orphans School in Nambala Meru Fighting against Ignorance Poverty and Disease among our communities •We are very much convinced that these orphans are in great need of their very basic physical needs such as classroom buildings and even just a basic education for themselves. • To relieve distress and suffering of orphans and disabled orphans who have lost hope through economical and social opportunities. To encourage and assist the formulation of action oriented development projects based on sharing of experiences, ideas and knowledge. Gives care and support to the orphans and most vulnerable living with HIV/AIDS and their relatives in Meru Arusha Northern Tanzania including medical care, clothing, food and counseling for behavior and attitude change. Our urgent requirements. 1. We need sponsorship mechanism programs so that we should involved and help some development activities in orphans school in Meru Division 2. We need Libraries 3. We need Blankets, Mattress, Food and Clothes for orphans. Target Groups: The target group is the Orphans and most vulnerable children from Meru District in Maasai pastoralists Communities to understand about HIV/AIDS and to prevent there orphans and most vulnerable children in new transmission of HIV/AIDS. Sustainability Issues: ZAMIFO English Medium Pre and Primary School is interested to continue existing in order to prolong serving its target group over time. In order to do this there are four sustainability issues those will continue to be addressed by our School:- We are sustaining overtime the benefits realized from work we done with target people We are interested in strengthening and building our capacity to perform better. Financial sustainability is a great need for our School to cover over-heads and operational costs. Relationship/networking sustainability is greatly needed where our services needed are beyond our resources capacity. Natasha English Medium Pre and Primary School is interested into network with other international organizations, University in responding to the need of target communities.
