Zen and A Glorious Afternoon at Red Fort What a glorious day. You get such afternoons maybe once or twice during the winters. An afternoon when you can actually feel the cool crisp air invigorating you deep inside. The rain has washed the stone and for once the red sandstone looks almost red. The glowing sunshine plays on the ramparts and the Tricolour flutters happily under the blue sky. Of course, Delhities can’t let such an afternoon go waste and wearing their winter best line up for a km outside the Lahori Gate.
