Zenzo also raises an important issue of tribalism not only in Phanda but in Chobe as a whole. Some people have used tribalism to advance themselves. This is bad for.mankind. Tribalism puts those of us who cut across most tribes in a dilema. For example I am a cousin to Basarwa, Banajwa, Ndebele and Bekuhane. I have nephews and nieces in among Batawana, Bayeyi and the Hambukushu just to mention a few. A lot of us are in this situation and yet we want to discriminate against each other based on tribal lines. Why and what for? As Zenzo points out this retards developments and progress at all levels. We should shun tribalism and those who want to promote it if we are to develop as a community. We should appreciate our diverse cultures and apreciate, promote and nurture them. Let us love each other as brothers and sisters and live together in harmony.
