Zoning Board agrees! PLEASE READ THIS: Trish and Bernie Marki have been taking in injured wildlife for years, and have always been very helpful to the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge. They were the first to show up with tools and help, when trees knocked down by storms flattened some of our enclosures. Now ANTHONY DEPACE of Bolton Landing, some selfish wealthy neighbor with a grudge, has decided to force them to shut down their operation. We invite Mr. Depace to provide a single example ANYWHERE, of an Irish Setter being injured by a raptor. We also ask the Zoning Board to describe their plan to protect Mr. DePaces dog from the hundreds of wild raptors that live around Bolton Landing, you know, the raptors who are not in cages?! To the good citizens of Bolton Landing, are you going to stand for local heros like Bernie Marki, an accomplished paramedic who has helped save so many lives in the community, and Trish Marki, a wildlife rehabber, who has saved thousands of wild animals, and educated thousands of your kids, or for some selfish creep, who makes a completely ridiculous claim about the dangers from wildlife? The Supervisor of Bolton Landing is Ron Conover, and the town’s zoning administrator is Pamela Kenyon. lets tell them how we feel!
