Zouk Compa/Konpa Music Video Promotion Caribbean music has gained - TopicsExpress

Zouk Compa/Konpa Music Video Promotion Caribbean music has gained enormous popularity all over the world which has been most likely influenced by reggae music, but there are other styles of Caribbean music which although not truly recognized in the mainstream English speaking countries can still claim to be just as popular in French speaking countries. We refer to Zouk and Konpa, which have both been made extra popular by two distinctive bands and that is Kazzav bringing to the world their Zouk and Tabou Combo out of Haiti maintaining dominance in the compa genre. There are various rhythms designed for various islands and this is the beauty of it all. Soca music has been associated with Trinidad and Tobago but has its influence in many other Caribbean islands including sounds like Bouyon originating from Dominica. Over the years many other sounds have lost their way making room for new and more up to date sounds and that includes Ska out of Jamaica and Spooge out of Barbados. However, our focus here is on Konpa and Zouk which is the two genres we will be promoting over the next few weeks and we are hopeful that we do attract as many artist as possible to sign up for our services. We envision by doing so they can bring a new audience to their music from English speaking countries. bit.ly/14OJOAI
