ZuCrew...Low/High Impact Zumba! In August, I will be able to offer you almost 75 Zumba classes! Thats almost 80 classes including Park Parties and Celebrations! You dont have to choose between Zumba & Zumba Gold classes anymore (limiting the days/times available to you)...I am fortunate to have 2 other Instructors help me teach the modified steps as I divide the gym into sides. ALL classes are low/high impact and YOU choose the intensity. I NEED TO EXPLAIN a HICCUP in the class ...Zumba is effective and successful when an Instructor provides top notch cuing skills. I took a ProSkills class in Orlando, Florida to refine cuing skills! I wear a headset, but my body language, visual cues and hand cues are important to show you what to do during the routines and preview the next step coming up. I know when you come to class you need to choose which side of the gym to stand on...but I have also politely asked a few to move from the middle front row when standing directly in front of an instructor. Lindsay, Lauren and I have to stand in specific spots for our ZuCrew to see our cues. IF I move you...its not personal...its so everyone can see the instructors. I usually move around, join you in the crowd and jump all over the place anyway...but some ZuCrew need the comfort of an Instructor staying visible. A STAGE would be ideal....but until then...I am just making sure I provide everyone with the BEST experience possible. ALL of my decisions are always with the best intentions. One of the TOP anxiety triggers of a Zumba class is figuring out where to stand...(especially for my Newbies.) Please know that no one has a spot and if you find yourself directly in front of the instructor (front row)...do not take it personally if I move you to the side. Ive had to do this a few times in class, so I thought Id clarify and let you know that its nothing personal. :) Rock On! Now...BACK TO PACKING :)
