In early days of Exile every moment wasn a challenge despite moments of despondency we fought ......fought skilfully..... Commissioner of education stopped salaries to be paid to camp college teachers on the auspicious shivratri as without work they cant be paid....in one camp college it was stopped and .in other camp college they were paid ...world moves with positive minds and human conscience ...we did not take it lying down Her superior was an able old ICS OFFICER we met him he felt so bad after i presented the case,as president of the association his one liner to the commmissioner by tommorow 11 am they must get the salaries, the same evening they started the disbursement , In the Dec 2000, ..... ..... case of displaced govt aided school teachers got favourable judgement from honble High court the state went into appeal against the judgement to the Honble supreme court..Despite engagement of chidambaram by the state govt the Honble supreme court endorsed the decision of the high court and directed the govt to pay pending salaries.... the govt was hesitant , we met the then secretary school education he was defiant , I and my delegation argued his reason was benumbed while leaving he was nasty and used abusive language ,members of my delegation felt terribly hurt, i met the then education minister who the other day vociferously opposed shrine bill in the assembaly as leader of the panthers party, he was not sensitive to the insane act , i met his deputy minister he started cribbing about the minister, finally I met the Deputy chief chief minister, narrated him the story of jawahar lal nehru , he was in naini jail when he read in the newspaper that his mother was lathi charged by the British police as she was leading a protest march... nehru read the news after fifteen days, those days political prisoneers were not treated as maharajas , Nehru reacted that I would have recked little of the consequences personal or national .... mother is ultimate ....so no functionary of the govt can abuse our mothers he felt very sad and assured me to take the matter with the chief minister , but I was hurt beyond repair , I told my colleagues , we will hold the press conference , we adressed the press conference next day all papers local and national carried the news on the front page ....the govt had no option but show exit to the officer.....I had good sleep, the memories will move on as life,.Fair pledges of a fruitful tree, why do ye fall so fast.?
